1 Langtang National Park

2 Kumari Bahal 

It’s a beautiful ancient palace built in the mid-1700s. Its architect is Jaya Prakash Malla. While Kumari is chosen as Devi, this is the place where she lives. This is the three-story traditional structure made up of red bricks, carved windows, wood, doors, and balconies, which is amazing.

3 Boudh stupa

This place is about 11 km from the city center of Kathmandu. This gargantuan spherical structure dominated the Kathmandu skyline. Here, it is said that anyone who circumambulates the stupa with no bad thoughts receives good karma, which means the gates of hell will be closed for them!

4 Pashupatinath Temple

In 1979, this place was declared a World Heritage Site. This is the holiest temple of Hindus in Nepal. This temple is located on the eastern fringes of Kathmandu. Thousands of devotees come there regularly and seek blessings from Lord Shiva. It is said that the Jyotirlinga is housed in this Pashupatinath temple.

5 Kathmandu Durbar Square

This regal durbar square is one of the three durbar squares in the whole country. This is witnessed by so many kings, one after another, who ruled Nepal for a long time. Whenever the new ruler was crowned, this place used to be full of steady beats of drums and trumpets.

6 Hanuman Dhoka

Hanuman Dhoka is a mid-16-century complex structure. This place is located in Durbar Square of Kathmandu. This place was once the great royal palace of the Shah dynasty and Malla kings. Locally, this place is known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar.

7 Budhanilkantha Temple

This temple is an open-air shrine and is located in the valley of Shivpuri Hill in Kathmandu. This place is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. There is the statue of Lord Vishnu in a reclining posture in the water pool. This is the largest statue in Nepal which attracts not only devotees but also tourists.

8 Asan Tole

This is a neo-classical garden built in 1920 by Kishore Narshingh. This garden is also known as ‘Garden of six seasons’ and ‘Swapna Bageecha.’ This garden has its beauty of pavilions, ponds, urns, etc. There is also a Kaiser Gallery where you can explore the unique artifacts.
