There are some of the leading armies that have popularity all over the world thanks to the advanced techniques and the excellent training they receive. These armies were able to prepare special members who can perform duties that need special skills and training. The personnel was carefully selected to execute operations for a nation’s political, economic or military purposes. 10 British SAS

This is one unit of the British army. It was founded in 1941. It is one of the leading special forces all over the world. It is responsible for undertaking operations such as covert reconnaissance and counter-terrorism. They are trained in mountain and desert warfare.

9Navy SEALs

This refers to the United States Navy’s Sea, Air, Land Teams. They are one of the leading units in terms of physical capabilities after the Spetsnaz. 4U.S Green Berets

They are divided into elite commando units. Each one of these units consists of 12 member. They are trained to undertake guerrilla war, sabotage and subversion. Each member must learn how to speak a foreign language. Each one also should serve three years in the army before he can apply.

3Shayetet 13

This is one branch of the Israeli Navy. It was established  in 1948 and was made public in the 1960th. It is divided into three units, Raids, Underwater and Above Water. Each one goes through six months of basic and advanced infantry training. In 1969, Shayetet 13 carried out Operation Escort and managed to destroy a pair of Egyptian P-183 torpedo-boats.

2Polish GROM

It stands for Grupa Reagowania Operacyjno-Manewrowego. The establishment of this unit was proposed by General Edwin Rozłubirski to fight terrorism. Each one should pass through many tests including a psychological test, a durability test and a “trust” test. Training also includes anti-terrorism, special operations, sniping and parachuting.

Their permanent presence began in the 1970s. They are famous for their ability and skill to remain undetected. The first army of rangers was trained by the British commandos. It is involved in many tasks such as direct action, airfield seizure, airborne and air assaults and reconnaissance.
